A bit of a fun thread that may generate some interest and get some posts rolling in 
Rate your winter folks, particularly given your location and what is normally expected for the time of year.
This is my 8th year in Alicante and this winter has seen slightly above average temperatures. We've also has some intense but brief rainfall thrown in for good measure.
It was just over a year ago that my location recorded 29.2C, pretty incredible for late January. Not seen that so far, highest temperature in January was 25.1C.
This winter so far, 6/10. Last year I went for 8/10 given the high temperatures recorded at the end of January.
